ISS Tracker Privacy Policy

ISS Tracker is designed to be privacy-first. The app does not require an account, does not track you, does not show ads, and does not sell personal information.

Who we are

ISS Tracker is provided by Pacifica Consulting OÜ.

Information the app uses

Location

If you allow location access, ISS Tracker uses your device’s location to show your position relative to the International Space Station and to calculate upcoming flyovers.

Your location is processed on your device. It is not sent to Pacifica Consulting, stored on our servers, sold, or shared for advertising.

You can deny or revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings. Some location-based features may not work without location access.

App settings and local data

The app may store settings or preferences on your device so the app works properly. This data stays on your device unless the app clearly tells you otherwise.

Deleting the app removes data stored by the app on your device.

ISS and orbital data

To show current space station information, the app may retrieve public ISS or orbital data from remote data sources. These requests are not intended to include your location or other personal information.

As with any internet request, network providers or data-source servers may receive basic technical information such as your IP address. We do not use that information to identify or track you.

What we do not collect

ISS Tracker does not:

• require an account
• collect your name, email address, or phone number through the app
• collect or store your precise location on our servers
• use third-party advertising SDKs
• track you across apps or websites
• sell or share personal information for advertising

Support requests

If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message, and any screenshots or diagnostic details you include.

We use support information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app. We do not sell support information or use it for advertising.

We keep support messages only as long as reasonably needed for support, recordkeeping, or legal purposes. You may ask us to delete a support message unless we need to keep it for a legitimate legal or administrative reason.

Apple services

The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple may process App Store downloads, purchases, crash diagnostics, or other information under Apple’s own privacy practices and your Apple settings.

We may receive aggregate App Store statistics or diagnostic information from Apple. We do not use this information to identify or track individual users.

Third-party service providers

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics services in the app.

If you contact us through our website, email, or support tools, the service providers we use to receive and respond to those messages may process the information you provide. They are only permitted to process that information for the purpose of providing those services to us.

Your choices and rights

You can:

• control location access in iOS Settings
• delete the app to remove data stored locally by the app
• contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have voluntarily provided to us through support

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

Children’s privacy

ISS Tracker is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards for information you voluntarily provide to us, such as support messages. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
